US STRUCTURAL/CIVIL DRAWING CONVERSION

Scope : To convert existing civil/structural drawings for
an oil consultant in the US.
Task involved :

Scanning of existing drawings
-
Warping of the existing drawings to scale.

Digitization – As per the specifications provided
by the client, each feature along with dimensional accuracy had to be captured.
Different color and level settings were used for different lines. Scanned
drawings were used as reference files to place lines without dimensional
importance.

Quality Check – Color plots were taken to check for
missing lines/dimensions and proper placements as per specifications. On
screen level checks were also done for different type of lines.
