The scope of work for this project is mapping or identifying changes in an area using orthophotos of different dates. In general, only differences in durable structures, like new houses, demolished house, a dormer, an extension or a shed needs to be identified.

Interpretation skills play an important role in finding out the changes. A good mapping contains exactly these types of difference with perfect identifying capability. Since comparing between two difference dates of aerial photo images it becomes tricky to understand the different views and angle the photography are taken from.

This mapping plays a critical role in developing Land Data Information which assist in understanding the land parcel ownership with authorized property description. These changes help the Land record information system to enable the municipal agencies for collecting taxes for spatial analysis or any other research.
