Due to the environmental issues of deforestation in West Canada, the local governing body with the intention of taking necessary actions wanted the latest photos to be compared with the area that it was 10 years earlier. Overlapping Photos without any georeferncing information were provided. Georeferenced old black/white photos were provided to use for georeferencing the new photos. With great efforts the new photos were accurately positioned to match with the old photos followed by creation of orthophotos and mosaicing.
