Landuse Classification of Estates / Properties

The client is one of our strategic partners in Germany and a leading company specializing in Land Data Information and GIS / Photogrammetry.

Land data information is very essential for development and planning. To ensure that the high growth can be sustained, it was imperative to plan for an effective Land Information System to assist the Land city authorities in effective utilization planning land resources. It also helps the Land department to collect an appropriate amount of tax as per the sealed areas of a parcel.

The client reference inputs are the “AT” files for 3d View, Estate /Area Boundary (Cadastre) and the Ortho photos.

This scope of work involved the process to capture all the cadastral features such as rooftops with ridges and polygons (in 3D), Roads, footpaths, parking areas, areas fully covered by tar/concrete, covered by tiles etc. to deliver operation intelligence in land administration, planning and occupancy details.

The project involves the process of

  • Capture of Building rooftops

  • Along with capture of rooftops in 3D, this process involves classification of buildings as normal rooftop building, Flat rooftop building, Green rooftop building, Flat Green rooftop building and Extra extension on rooftop.
